3. Start a New Hobby or Find a New One

I struggled with post-partum depression after having my first child. It is hard to get passed but I was able to motivate myself by getting into old hobbies. I loved cooking and enjoyed writing with a heavy passion, so I started up again. In order to motivate yourself out of depression try a hobby. You can try any hobby:

  • Sewing
  • Gardening
  • Fishing
  • even learning a new language.

There are many more hobbies to choose from. Take some time out to find what you like to do and get going.

4. Get Support from Family and Friends

The best motivation can come from those around you. Stop isolating yourself and be around people that can help you. Surround yourself with positive people. 5. Motivate Yourself by Setting Some Goals

The key to motivation is setting some goals that are achievable. You can start by setting one primary goal to get yourself excited. You can even make the goal public so you’ll be more apt to complete the goal. It can be a great way to motivate yourself out of depression. If you want to focus on more than one goal, great! But, try not to overdo it so you don’t stress yourself out.
